Touching Memory is a short documentary about a singular American therapeutic garden designed to treat young trauma victims. This garden, on the outskirts of Boston, was the culmination of Dr. Sebastiano Santostefano’s lifelong efforts to incorporate the natural world into clinical practice. Despite ridicule and a lack of support, Dr. Santostefano always found a way to bring his patients outdoors so that they could “touch” their memories and thereby initiate the healing process.
